What follows is a conceptual idea for a video ad promoting international tourism to India.
A much longer video could be added to it, expanding on what is teased in this.
It could be a new part of the INCREDIBLE INDIA campaign, or it could be a new, stand alone campaign.
The idea is very simple.
The ad consists of a series of quick videos showing close-ups of the faces of individuals displaying different emoticons.
The videos are shot in different locations around India.
But, because the first set of images are close-ups, the viewer cannot tell the setting is India.
The soundtrack is a mash-up of tribal beats, city sounds, jungle noises etc.
After the close-ups are finished, the camera pulls back, slowly letting the viewer see the backgrounds, as the people continue to display various emotions.
The backgrounds are diverse; cities,
The people can be at fashion shows,
The video keeps cutting back and forth between long shots, and close-ups
Then, finally, when the music reaches a crescendo, these words appear on the screen
All of the people will be saying WOW!, nodding their heads in agreement, smiling, laughing.
